Taz gave me excellent advice on what my macros should be, after taking a thorough history and details of what I required giving me recipe ideas and always taking into account my lifestyle and my training requirements. She was great at keeping in touch, giving me advice on what to eat on competition day.
I continue to use Taz’s services as it is important to me that I keep as healthy as possible and I know that she will help me do this. I would certainly recommend Taz to anyone who as looking for a nutritionist. She is sympathetic to individuals lifestyles, keeping in touch to find out how you are doing and offering advice in a very non judgemental way. Even when I was struggling she was calm and gave me the confidence that I would get back on track. She is realistic that there are certain times when you go off plan, but she always helps me get back on plan without making me feel guilty about having a bit of a blip.
While I have been working with Taz I have managed to set a new Scottish deadlift record and definitely feel that I have my nutrition under control all with her help.
The truth is, I’ve learnt heaps from Tasmin’s approach. As her name suggests, the whole approach is highly realistic and sensible. I loved the fact she went into lots of detail when assessing my food diary and making recommendations. I’m a person who enjoys the detail but for those who find it overwhelming, she helpfully includes a short summary version.
I’ve found my sports performance has improved greatly which has made me very happy (I’m a powerlifter and also do freestyle wrestling and gymnastics.)
I also enjoyed the “no shaming” approach- one can be very honest if they have overindulged in the less nutritious stuff and she just helps you get back on track in a positive way.
